Event Description
VET Festival offers delegates a CPD experience like no other. Taking place in a field in the beautiful Surrey countryside….think of VET Festival as a marriage of CPD and a cool music festival – a fun, relaxed, chilled atmosphere whilst learning and obtaining your required CPD hours. It's a unique outdoor environment where we’re not afraid to talk about challenging issues, to innovate and to break the mould for the delivery of veterinary education. VET Festival was launched in 2015 to truly break the mould of CPD veterinary conferences. The idea was conceived and since developed by Professor Noel Fitzpatrick to offer delegates the chance to celebrate, learn and have fun in a fresh, outdoor environment – think music festival with CPD lecture tents and that was VET Festival's vision. Now 5 years on we have listened and learnt and the 2 day event has grown in size, stature and excitement! There are 13 conference streams offering 120+ lectures, plus 40+ exhibitors, 1 stage, live music acts, loads of straw hay bales to sit on and stacks of innovation but above all every single lecture is genuinely interesting and relevant. We have created a community of compassionate people, where joy and fun is equal and integral to the CPD learning experience. It’s about looking after each other and learning relevant material that can enhance the lives of our patients and ourselves whilst enjoying great live music and a sense of genuine comradery - experience fun, joy, love and belonging.
