Aurora Animal Hospital (Centennial, Colorado) is looking for a Credentialed Veterinary Technician to add to their growing Team!

We provide comprehensive veterinary care to all creatures, great and small! Our Team of Veterinarians, Board Certified Specialist, and highly skilled veterinary professionals bring high quality medical care and top-notch customer service to our clients and patients. Our hospital is AAHA accredited and certified cat friendly – we are committed to maintaining high standards of practice at our hospital!

You can expect to see a variety of cases from common household pets such as cats, dogs, and exotics too! You will have the opportunity to utilize your skill set while expanding your knowledge by learning from our talented team of Doctors and Techs. Ideal Candidate

• Certification as a Veterinary Technician. (REQUIRED)
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to effectively handle and control aggressive animals.
• Must be able to handle the physical and emotional aspect of work in a veterinary clinic environment, including the use of euthanasia.
• Models a professional and courteous manner with staff and clients.
• Commitment to ongoing educational development and growth.
• Must have active listening, critical thinking, complex problem solving, time management, judgment, and decision-making skills.
