We are seeking a team member who is dependable, loves to delight clients, and works well in a fast-paced, fun, team environment. This position requires a positive and friendly attitude, great client service skills, and a desire to compassionately care for animals.

Responsibilities and Duties

Candidate must be able to safely restrain patients using low-stress measures, perform x-rays, prep for and assist with surgeries, perform venipuncture, place IV catheters, maintain accurate electronic records, obtain patient history, and educate clients about common pet health concerns. The position also requires cleaning enclosures, feeding, and walking pets, and receptionist related responsibilities.

COVID-19 considerations

We are currently operating “curbside” and requiring face coverings to ensure the health and safety of our team.

At least one year of veterinary technician/assistant experience is preferred. We have a small, team-oriented, and client service focused hospital in which all team members backup phones and team members must work together to perform all hospital duties including daily cleaning and kennel duties. Must cross-train to perform front desk operations. Experience with Idexx/Cornerstone is a plus. Will be required to lift approximately 50 lbs and work on your feet most of the day.

Must be available to work full-time; weekdays until 6:30 pm and Saturdays 8 am – 12:30 pm.
