Veterinary Surgeon/Senior Veterinary Surgeon

Job Description

The Role

We have a very rewarding position for a Veterinary Surgeon/Senior Veterinary Surgeon to be part of a dedicated team striving to provide the best in veterinary care in Newton Abbot. The role has become available due to one of the veterinary team moving to a referral centre within IVC Evidensia to pursue referral aspirations. It is very much about work life balance and a supportive environment, to create a positive atmosphere in which to work in, at Kingsteignton Veterinary Group. We would expect that the post holder would work a 4 day week, although other options may be possible. We have a dedicated external OOH service but you will be required to be back up on call for visits and inpatients, one day a week, one Friday in 4 and one weekend in 4. There is a generous CPD budget and advanced certificate study is encouraged. Within this role there is likely to be some time spent at another local IVC Evidensia practice which provides first opinion and referral services.
