The Role

We are seeking a full time Veterinary Surgeon to join our team at Medivet Esher.

The position would suit and experienced Veterinary Surgeon who enjoys delivering a high level of patient and client care. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is keen to move on in their career and wants to see a high and varied case load. There is scope for further certified development for the right candidate.

You should be comfortable with routine GP work, have exceptional communication skills and the desire to practice to a very high level.

This role covers 39 hours a week over a 4 day week and is also part of a 1:3 half or 1:6 full weekend rota.

Salary and Benefits

A very competitive package of up to £55,000 per annum (depending on experience), which includes accommodation allowance and a vehicle or vehicle allowance

£1,500 CPD allowance with 3 days CPD leave per annum or pro rata

5 weeks annual leave, plus bank holidays

Skills and Experience

You must be a Veterinary Surgeon who is registered with the RCVS.

The Branch

Medivet Esher is located a 2 minute walk from Hinchley Wood station. Medivet Esher is a busy practice and has recently undergone a full refurbishment. We have the usual toys including ultrasound, digital x-rays/dental x-rays and endoscopy equipment etc. We have easy access to CT and MRI and certified orthopaedic and soft tissue surgeons for the more complex cases.

We have a well established team consisting of two full time vets (now seeking a third), two client care assistants, two RVNs and two VN students. We focus heavily on team work and creating a happy, supportive and progressive environment. We are a successful training practice and regularly mentor new graduates.
