The VDCNC is seeking a Veterinary Dentist and Oral Surgeon to join our growing referral practice in Durham, NC. The VDCNC is a well-established veterinary dental referral practice with an excellent reputation in patient care, client communication, and long-term referral relationships. We are located in Durham, North Carolina, which is consistently rated in the top 10 places in the USA to live and work.

We have a new state-of-the-art, 4,000 square feet facility opening this year exclusively dedicated to providing both veterinary dental referral services and continuing education for veterinary students, technicians, and practicing veterinarians.

We have over three years of experience integrating CB CT imaging with almost all patients benefiting from advanced 3D imaging. Over 1400 patients have been scanned. We also take great pride in our excellent, experienced support staff, including RVTs and an RVT with a VTS in Dentistry.

Responsibilities / Qualifications

Requirements:

• Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree from an accredited university
• Diplomate of the American Veterinary Dental College, or residency-completed candidate
• Licensure must be in good standing to practice in the state of North Carolina
• Professional demeanor and appearance, with excellent interpersonal skills and a positive, friendly attitude
• The ability to make decisions and communicate clearly and effectively with fellow team members
• Respect for and willingness to work with clients and their pets
• Compassionate team player who can uphold great reputation with clients
• A commitment to practicing the highest standard of medicine, upholding the veterinary code of ethics
