The North Shore Veterinary Hospital (NSVH) is seeking an enthusiastic, client focused Veterinarian who wishes to practices high quality evidence based medicine in a fun supportive environment.

In early 2019 we moved to a brand new state of the art, purpose built facility. We have full in-house laboratory facilities, comprehensive diagnostic imaging including 2 ultrasound rooms, digital X-ray, a 128 Slice GE CT scanner and are planning for an MRI installation in 2020. Our team is vibrant, friendly and passionate about the services we offer at NSVSC and includes teams of surgical specialists, internal medicine specialists, interns, referral nurses and fantastic support staff.

The NSVH is situated on the lower North Shore of Sydney and has a strong well-established client base. We have an outstanding group of team orientated veterinarians who work together to provide excellent veterinary care in a fun caring environment. The group is closely associated with North Shore Veterinary Specialist Centre, which is an expanding multi-disciplined Veterinary Hospital also located on the lower North Shore of Sydney. We have developed a strong culture based around a collaborative team effort to provide outstanding veterinary care to our patience.

We strongly encourage professional development of our staff both clinically and personally. The position will see the veterinarian working closely in a team with strong support networks. There is 24/7 after hours care provided by our ECC vets, located at our North Shore practice.

Our hospitals are equipped or have access to;

• complete in-house laboratory, (Biochemistry and haematology),
• digital radiology,
• 16 slice CT scanner,
• fluoroscopy,
• ventilators,
• dental radiology,
• endoscopy and
• ultrasonography, ECG

The hospital runs regular CE events for referring vets, and clinical rounds every fortnight.

The opportunity will provide the successful applicants with the chance to improve their clinical experience, learn new veterinary skills, work alongside a great team of vets in a supportive environment. We are seeking veterinarians who are client focused, practice evidence-based medicine at a high level, enjoy working in a progressive team environment. Minimum requirements are one year experience in a small animal veterinarian hospital. The position will be ideal for a vet with a background in GP that wishes to grow their skill set in a supported environment. Salary will be commensurate with experience.
