Are you a GP vet tired of the daily caseload of vaccines and wellness visits, but not quite comfortable tackling the most critical emergencies? Or are you an emergency doctor wanting off overnights but still wanting to see a wide variety of cases? Arizona Veterinary Emergency and Critical Care Center , located in Peoria, Arizona, is looking to hire an Urgent Care Veterinarian that focuses on non-critical cases that enter the emergency department.

We are interested in speaking to internship trained candidates and/or experienced GP or ER clinicians for part time or full time positions.

This position will include care and services of non-critical emergencies, to include skin lacerations, vomiting, limping, ear infections, eye and skin issues, etc. The proposed schedule will consist of 8-hour shifts, likely being 7AM-3PM or 8AM-4PM, with no overnights! We are planning to open the Urgent Care in early 2021, but have options to start earlier in our emergency department if desired. There are also opportunities with hybrid Urgent Care/ER positions.

Our brand new 15,000 square foot hospital is equipped with state-of-the-art equipment to provide our patients with quality medical care, including:
• Snyder Oxygen Cage
• Newport e360 Ventilator
• PrismaFlex CRRT at Gilbert locations, where cases can be transferred
• Shared space, single unit hospital with on-site specialists in ECC, Surgery, Internal Medicine, Cardiology, Radiology, Dentistry, and Dermatology.
