We are currently seeking short term veterinary/Equine Professional volunteers to volunteer their time to come and work with us in Gambia. Please note that we are only able to accept fully qualified veterinary/equine professional volunteers, with a minimum of one year’s experience in practice, due to the often challenging nature of the work we encounter. We will consider applications for voluntary positions from qualified farriers and equine dentists.

The cost of volunteering is £25 per night stay to cover accommodation, food and drinking water. We also charge £15 for airport transfers.

The best time to travel is November to April as airfares are a lot cheaper and the weather is nicer than during the rainy season, but we are happy to see volunteers all year round if this was more convenient for them.
