The Role

We have an exciting opportunity for a Registered Veterinary Nurses to join us here at Stokesley Vet Practice. Duties will be varied and will include consults, including supporting the consulting vet, anaesthesia and surgical support along with inpatient care and assisting the reception and administration team as required. We will require additional hours to be covered at holiday times and busy periods, so a degree of flexibility in providing cover would be helpful.
• 40-hour week (this can be shared between 2 nurses if part time was preferred)
• No OOHs
• No weekends

About Us

On the edge of the Cleveland hills,located in the market town of Stokesley, a perfect location for walking. A small friendly bunch of people who thrive delivering a high standard of care to our pets and excellent client communication. A varied caseload daily in a first opinion practice with the usual equipment including Digital Radiography K-Laser, Ultrasound and In House Lab.

We are a team of 5 Vets covering our own OOH, 2 Vet Nurses in total, 4 reception staff and our practice manager. Our main focus in practice is that we work together as part of a team, we all help out in all areas and even our vets are good at answering the phones! We are involved within our community and provide veterinary cover for local agricultural shows, the whole team gets involved involving regular meetings with pizza. We are proud to be a big part of our community with an excellent loyal client base and would be keen for our new team members to be involved.

Applicant Requirements

The ideal candidate will be a Registered Veterinary Nursewith experience, ideally gained in a similar small animalsetting. Excellent communication skills and a passion for client care are a must.
