Registered Veterinary Nurse

Job Description

The Role

We are looking for a Registered Veterinary Nurse to complete our team here at Glenthorne. Duties will include nurse clinics, theatre monitoring anaesthetics use of multiparameter monitors, pre-operative preparation, inpatient care and educating clients on all aspects of companion care. We have an in-house laboratory and pay annual RCVS fees.

About Us

We are a two site, mixed practice on the Staffordshire/Derbyshire border. We are a friendly, forward thinking, proactive team in a busy tier 2 accredited practice. We are fully equipped with an in-house lab, multiparameter monitors, digital x-ray, ultrasound, and dental machine. We offer a family feel with a team that has a wealth of experience in all areas of veterinary nursing including emergency medicine and physiotherapy.

We are looking for a fully Registered Veterinary Nurse with some post qualification experience – this is desirable, not essential. You must have an up to date CPD record and a keen desire to expand your knowledge with the able support of your colleagues, or on your own. Our ideal candidate is a self-motivated individual who works well in all aspects of nursing and is passionate about delivering excellent patient care.

As a Disability Confident Employer we are keen to hear from candidates with disabilities and long term health conditions, and would be happy to discuss any reasonable adjustments needed during the recruitment process.
