The Role

We are looking for an experienced small animal medicine clinician to head our medicine team. As well as heading the team you will be working up complex medicine cases including referrals from within the Bath Vet Group, IVC Referral Network and other external referring practices. Experience of a range of diagnostic imaging modalities would be an advantage. The role involves 3 to 4 days per week, on call approx 1 in 7 weekends and weekday nights.

About Us

Situated on the southern edge of Bath, Bath Veterinary Referrals is based at the Rosemary Lodge Veterinary Hospital. The referral team includes four surgeons, two medics and an ophthalmologist (this vacancy is for a third medicine clinician). We have a team of dedicated referral nurses. Our facilities include onsite CT, MRI, ultrasound and endoscopy.

Applicant Requirements

The successful candidate will be a specialist in Small Animal Internal Medicine or an Advanced Practitioner in Small Animal Medicine. Small Animal Medicine certificate holders close to becoming eligible to register as Advanced Practitioners are welcome to apply. An opportunity to lead the referral medicine team may be available for the right candidate.
