Job Description

Cares for pets in facility. Feeds and waters animals according to schedules. Controls and restrains animals as required. Cleans, changes, and disinfects cages, pens, yards; sanitizes animal rooms, hallways, and ancillary equipment. Transfers animals between quarters. Under the supervision of a Veterinary Technician, gives full service baths (includes ear cleaning, anal glands and nail trim) and assists with tech appointments. Ensures the over all cleanliness of clinic and helps with end of day cleaning. Stock areas needed during slow times. Minimum of 6 months job-related work experience required.
