The Role

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Night Veterinary Surgeon who thrives on emergency medicine and wants to work in a purpose built RCVS hospital at our 24 Hour Alfreton practice.

Hours can be either full time or part time and can be discussed.

Our practice has a friendly client base who appreciate the personal service we provide.

This role requires a motivated vet to work confidently in a busy environment with the ability to make sound clinical judgement. Strong management and mentor skills are essential as you will play a crucial part within the team.

You will have a fantastic team around you for support, with access to great facilities including an ECG, isolation unit and ultrasound.

Salary &Benefits:

• Full time salary up to £65,000 dependent on experience, plus:
• Accommodation allowance £6,600
• Vehicle or vehicle allowance £2,500
• CPD allowance with 1 night CPD leave
• VDS, RCVS, BVA fees paid

24 Hour Alfreton practice has a dedicated loyal and friendly team in a purpose built hospital close to the beautiful Derbyshire Peak District.

The Peak District area is known and loved by many for its breath-taking views, bustling market towns and pretty villages. It has historic houses, famous attractions and hundreds of traditional events.
