The Role

Medivet are looking for a Mobile Veterinary Surgeon with at least 1 year of UK (or UK equivalent) experience to support our practices in the Sutton area.

Our mobile vet role offers great flexibility and gives an excellent opportunity to be part of a close knit network of friendly vets, nurses and support staff. You will have an interesting and varied caseload!

The ideal candidate will have experience of working in an environment where colleagues support you by sharing skills and knowledge to give our patients the best outcomes. You’ll be involved in cases using state-of-the-art technologies such as MRI, ultrasound, laparoscopy and endoscopy.

This role consists of 39 hours a week over a 4 day shift pattern, including 1:3 Saturdays/Sundays and 1:6 weekends.

Salary & Benefits:

Competitive salary package of up to £45,000 per annum (depending on experience), which includes accommodation allowance and a vehicle or vehicle allowance

£1,500 CPD allowance with 3 days CPD leave, and in-house CPD training

VDS, RCVS, BVA fees paid

Skills and Experience

You must be a Veterinary Surgeon who is registered with the RCVS.

You should be confident working some sole charge and routine procedures.

As this is a mobile role, a full driver’s license is essential.

The Branch

This role will support our practices in our Sutton region and the rota will reflect the needs of the region e.g. you may be covering a couple of the practices for one week. This will be communicated accordingly.

The practices that this role will cover are based in 24-Hour Sutton, Ashtead, Chipstead, Epsom Fir Tree Road, Epsom Pound Lane, Esher, Horton, Morden, West Byfleet and Wimbledon.
