The Role

Joining our professional and personable team at our Stoke Newington practice, you’ll deliver exceptional care by going beyond consulting to listen and empathising, putting patients and clients first, always.

As well as your day to day duties within practice caring for your patients and clients, you will play a key role in leading and managing the team. You will have the drive and ambition to develop the practice client base, ensuring high standards of care are always delivered.

As qualified MRCVS, you’ll already have good experience gained in small animal practice. You’ll be competent in clinical examination and surgery and confident working sole charge or as part of the wider team. Sharing our values being trustworthy, caring and progressive, you will have all the softer skills essential to working effectively and empathetically, such as good communication skills, mediation experience, and the ability to share knowledge and lead by being an outstanding, positive example to others.

Branch Partnership opportunities within this practice are also available where you can own part of the clinic, have complete clinical freedom whilst receiving full support from the wider Medivet network.

The Branch

Our Zasman Vet group has eight branches across North London. You will lead the team in Stoke Newington where there is a fantastic culture and camaraderie. The surgery is situated near a large park, Clissold Park. I t has a lovely village feel – lots of coffee shops, pubs and restaurants on our doorstep!

We have fantastic clients and we are active in the local community. We take pride in our collaborative approach; you will have the opportunity to call upon our experienced vets for advice. including Certificate Holders and a Diplomate.

The practice is well-equipped with both digital x-ray and dental x-ray, ultrasound, tonometer, bronchoscope and endoscope, blood pressure machine, ECG, full lab including microscope, haematology and biochemistry analyser and diathermy. All out-of-hour care is managed by a local Medivet hospital, where you will also have access to CT and MRI. This is an amazing opportunity with great career progression and prospects.
