Job Description

We are seeking an individual to join our team that is an able-bodied, dependable, compassionate, highly motivated, proactive individual who values outstanding animal care, in addition to, exceptional client service. The successful candidate will possess strong communication and teamwork skills and be able to multi-task with consistent attention to detail. Proper animal handling and restraint skills are a plus.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

– Responsible for the care and comfort of the pets in our facility

– Prepare patient meals, clean patient cages and bedding, and maintain litter boxes

– Medicate

– Bathing, nail trims, anal gland expression

– Walk dogs

– Play with and supervise dogs during individual playtime

-Do laundry

– Restock hospital supplies

– Clean and disinfect areas of the hospital as often as is necessary to maintain high standards of care. Cleaning and maintaining hospital premises

– Observe patients for obvious signs of health concerns and report any findings to senior staff

– Assist Doctors and Technicians when necessary
