Job Description

Interested in working at Twin Maples? We are currently hiring for our full-time kennel position as well as part-time. Our kennel assistants are responsible for providing a clean, and healthy environment for the animals being treated or boarded at the hospital. Outside of caring for our boarders, they are responsible for janitorial duties as well as some ground maintenance.

Some of our kennel assistant duties include:

– Walking/feeding/caring for boarders.

-Monitor and record important information about the animals’ conditions, behavior, and habits ( elimination, eating, etc.).

-Maintaining laundry throughout the day and keep the laundry area neat.

-Maintaining our standard of floor care.

– Monitoring and maintaining the kennel inventory to include, food, cleaning supplies, laundry supplies, etc.

Our full-time position works Monday- Friday 6 am- 1 pm. Our part-time position hours vary on the weekdays from 3 pm-6:30 pm- 7:30 pm depending on the day. Our part-time assistants must be available for weekend hours, those are 7:40 am-12 pm and 4 pm- 5:30 pm on Saturday and Sundays. Holidays are on rotation, so holidays are required with holiday pay. Scrubs are provided after 90 days of employment. We are looking for hardworking individuals that shares our passion for providing hospitality to our clients.

Pay rate for full-time starts at $10 an hour. Part-time pay starts at $8.90 an hour. Each position does have room to grow, so there are opportunities for more pay.
