The Role

We are looking for an experienced Registered Veterinary Nurse to join the team as Head Veterinary Nurse at our fantastic practice based in Roehampton.

This practice is one of the main practices in our Richmond region, boasting an amazing patient and client base, a friendly and experienced team and a stunning location. The clinic is lovely, spacious and well-equipped. There are separate cat and dog wards and a high case load, so the successful nurse will be able to gets hands on.

The role will involve all aspects of nursing as well as assisting with training our student nurses through clinical coaching. This position provides you with the opportunity to develop nursing clinics and use your initiative to promote new ideas; more responsibilities will form part of this role with full support being provided by the nursing team.

This is a full time permanent position, covering 40 hours a week over 5 days. You will also be part of a weekend rota, covering 1:4 full weekends.

Skills and Experience

You must be a Veterinary Nurse who is registered with the RCVS.

The Branch

Medivet Roehampton provides a range of services, including X-Rays, ECG and Endoscopy. The clinic is a very busy first and second opinion practice, situated on Putney Heath. It has been established for 19 years and has built up a very large client base. The Branch Partners specialise in orthopaedics and dermatology, so there are many varied and complex cases.

The vet team consists of experienced vets and certificate holders, who are able to provide services such as TPLO, arthroscopic and spinal surgery, soft tissue surgery, thoracic and ENT & oral surgery. The reception team provide exceptional client care and this practice has also been awarded a Gold standard of patient care.
