The Role

All aspects of nursing as well as the day-to-day running of the practice. This position provides you with the opportunity to develop nurse clinics, promote best practice and mentor student nurses. Day to day the nurses cover theatre and nurse clinics. We have a close knit team of five at Seaview but with the other sites offering support when needed. You will be responsible for ensuring the Health and safety is kept up to date, Stock control, ordering and organising the practice.
The rota:
• Part time vacancy
• 3 days per week
• 8am to 6.30pm
• Just 1 in 6 Saturdays
• No OOH

About Us

Based in our Seaview Road practice not far from the beach and a short hop over the water to Liverpool
We are a small friendly team who work well together to provide the best for the patients. Provided with support from management who do a lot of the administration duties which allows you to spend more time with your team. We have x-ray, Ultrasound, in house lab, the usual equipment you would expect. We are closed at the weekend but a Saturday is required at our Upton site.

Applicant Requirements

RCVS registered veterinary nurse with great communication skills, postgraduate experience desirable. The ability to respond to clients requests promptly and sensitively. Ability to work well with others and agree common objectives. High energy with a can do positive attitude. Takes initiative and uses time and resources effectively, can prioritise workload to mange and complete tasks. We would consider senior nurse who is looking to further their career.
