Dogs and Cats Veterinary Referral and Emergency is seeking full-time Emergency veterinarians to join our growing hospital team.
The strong applicant will have an interest in working within our collaborative team to manage complex medical emergencies, will have a strong ability to multi-task, have superior communication skills, and an ability to function in a fast-paced environment. An interest in emergency surgery is a plus! We pride ourselves on being a teaching hospital, and applicants should have interest in supporting our internal and external continuing education programs, as well as mentoring new DVMs and interns when applicable. Completion of a rotating internship or previous experience working as a DVM in an emergency practice is preferred for this position, but we also offer a mentorship program for GP DVMs looking to transition to ER. We are also interested in speaking with residency trained or boarded Criticalists.

Our team of doctors currently consists of specialists in Internal Medicine (3), Oncology (1), Neurology (1), Radiology (1), Surgery (FT starting Summer 2021!), Critical Care (2), as well as 7 Emergency clinicians with internship or residency training.
