Job Description
Westchase Veterinary Center and Emergency is a fast-paced, expanding clinic. To keep up with our growth, we are seeking a full-time Client Service Representative (Receptionist). As a Client Service Representative (CSR), one is expected to provide exceptional client service while maintaining a smooth and efficient flow of clients and patients through the animal hospital. In addition, it requires a practical knowledge of the clinic’s procedures and policies. The CSR is expected to perform the office duties related to patient care and treatment and to assist the staff and doctors as needed.
Requirements
Qualifications:
- Telephone etiquette and client service excellence
- Basic veterinary medical knowledge, including products and services
- English language and written skills required
- High school diploma or equivalent
Skills:
- Excellent telephone skills
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Interpersonal skills including working in a team environment
- Handling difficult situations including emergencies
- Basic computer skills (Microsoft Office, E-mail, and AVImark experience preferred)
- Strong organizational skills with ability to multi-task and still attend to details
- Typing skills (accuracy)
- Payment handling and basic finance skills

Westchase Veterinary Center is open seven days a week (M-F 7a-9p, Sat 8a-5p, Sun 9a-5p). Candidates will need to have availability that includes evenings/nights and weekends.
