Shore Veterinarians includes three full-service animal hospitals and welcomes both emergency treatment cases as well as pet patients in need of routine medical, surgical, and dental care. We have years of experience treating serious conditions and offering regular pet wellness care. Beyond first-rate pet care, we make our clinic comfortable, kid-friendly, and calm, so our patients can relax in the waiting room and look forward to meeting our Seaville, Egg Harbor Township, Hammonton veterinarians at all of our locations.

Our services include routine preventative health care as well as surgery, laboratory, radiology, ultrasound and hospitalization facilities. About the position:

The Associate Veterinarian (ADVM) is responsible for medical and surgical care of patients in the exam room and in the hospital. This includes maintaining client relationships and effectively communicating the care needs and condition of their pet. Medical records are maintained in an accurate and legible manner and estimates are presented to clients in advance of care, as appropriate. The ADVM is considered a member of the hospital’s management team and is therefore responsible for supporting the hospital leadership and NVA.

Basic Skills and Qualifications:

  • Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) or equivalent
  • Strong communication skills: written, verbal and listening
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Strong working knowledge of veterinary medicine
  • Good working knowledge of business practice and accounting
  • Functional computer skills; workable typing ability
  • Able to think rationally and logically; able to make quick, decisive decisions
  • Able to give, receive and follow directions
  • Able to provide training and support to colleagues and support team members
  • Able to be empathetic and compassionate
