The Alaska Veterinary Clinic, in Anchorage Alaska, is seeking an Associate Veterinarian to join our team of Experienced Doctors.

The Alaska Veterinary Clinic is the longest established veterinary practice in the state of Alaska with 5 full time veterinarians. We strive to provide progressive and compassionate quality care along with exceptional client service and value. Our team’s goal is to continually improve our knowledge, sharpen our skills, and expand our ability to provide the best care in Anchorage while enjoying a fantastic work-life balance. Our practice focus is to provide the best preventative care by conducting thorough examinations, offering up to date diagnostics and treatment plans with special emphasis for treatment of Periodontal Disease. We also work closely with our local emergency hospitals and board certified specialists (including Internal Medicine, Cardiology, Dermatology, Critical Care, and Surgery) to strengthen continuity of care and provide our patients with the best treatment options available.

About the Hospital:

The Alaska Veterinary Clinic is proud to offer our clients preventative annual wellness plans (PAW Plans) that bundles comprehensive preventative services together, offering discounts with monthly payment options. Plans are geared toward juvenile health, adult, and geriatric care with options for spaying/neutering and dentistry. Our hospital has a fully equipped in-house lab with digital microscope, Idexx equipment, digital x-ray, ultrasound, a fully stocked pharmacy and well-equipped O/R with in-house oxygen generation, endoscopy, electrocautery, and digital patient monitoring. Our dental treatment stations feature high speed dental burr, scaler, polisher, digital patient monitoring, and digital dental x-ray. As part of our standard of care, we provide anesthetic lab work for all anesthetic procedures, full mouth dental x-rays for all dental treatments, and utilize both Phoenix and Idexx laboratories for referral diagnostics along with several other referral lab options.
