Earlswood Veterinary Referrals as it is today originated as a small practice founded in Chichester Street, Belfast in the late 19th Century, moving to its present home on the Belmont Road in 1970, where it upgraded its status to become a veterinary hospital. The nature of practice changed from originally mainly horses and farm work to now a pure small animal practice, developing all the time to keep up with modern standards without losing the personal touch.

Nowadays, Earlswood Veterinary Referrals is a referral and first opinion RCVS accredited small animal hospital which has been recently refurbished and extended. The exceptional team of veterinary surgeons and registered veterinary nurses provide Orthopaedics, Ophthalmology, Surgical and Internal Medicine referrals by Certified Veterinary Surgeons, alongside Cardiac, Rehabilitation/Physiotherapy and Alternative Medical referrals and first opinion services. Our facilities include – three operating theatres, on site 16 slice CT scanner, visiting high field MRI, arthroscopy, fluoroscopy, endoscopy and laparoscopy.

With six veterinary surgeons and a nursing team of 20, Earlswood Veterinary Referrals is a leading referral hospital in Northern Ireland.
