Full Time Reception Position
Asheville Veterinary Associates is looking for an experienced customer service representative to join our energetic, knowledgeable team at our south Asheville location. Our team consists of fun-loving individuals who strive for continuous improvement, building relationships, problem solving, and strengthening the human-animal bond. 1 year veterinary customer service (preferred)
Duties:
-Provide customer service such as greet customers, answer questions, process incoming patients, and handle payments.
-Answer phone calls, which may involve answering questions and screening and scheduling appointments.
-Handle incoming and outgoing mail and email.
-Update, prepare and file patient charts.
-Enter data into a computerized billing program.
-Process credit card payments and prepare bank deposits.
-Retrieve prescriptions and assist with filling.
-Assist with pet supply purchases such as pet food, supplements, and grooming items.
-Assist with some animal restraint and or treatments.

Schedule:
8 hour shift (4 per week) + every other Saturday 8-12pm
