Veterinary Surgeon – Part Time

The Role

We are looking for a highly motivated Veterinary Surgeon who can thrive in our high-quality practice for 3 days per week and share of Saturdays. No OOH. This is a maternity contract to begin in April 2021, and continue for a fixed term of approximately 9-12 months. The role will include a mixture of surgery and consults each day, minimal sole charge. Must be happy with most aspects of general surgery, dentals and dental x-rays.

About Us

The clinic is well equipped with ultrasound, digital X-ray and dental X-ray machine, pulse oximetry, BP monitoring and in house lab. We are also hoping to get a multi-parameter anaesthetic machine soon. We see a high number of TTa cruciate surgeries and Bulldog airway surgery as we have a surgery certificate holder in practice.

Applicant Requirements

Confident and professional, you will be able to work with sole charge. You will relate to our core principles of quality, integrity, responsibility and growth, fitting seamlessly alongside our friendly practice teams as you work with team to provide a quality experience for pet owner and pets alike. You will have experience in a UK Small Animal practice, be RCVS registered, have strong communication skills and have the ability to work well in a team. We are looking for someone who has the passion to deliver great clinical quality and fantastic client service and the desire to care for pets as if they are your own.
