The Role

We are a 2 centre, 4 Vet practice, with 3 Vets at our main branch. We are looking for a Lead Veterinary Surgeon who is confident to do all the routine operations with ease, plus some Lead Vet work. The role would include looking after surgical cases and in patients for 3-4 days a week where you will be assisted by another Veterinary Surgeon.

We are a 2 branch RCVS accredited small animal practice based in North Birmingham, just one mile from Sutton Park, a vast expanse to enjoy a good work life balance. As we are only 3 miles from Junction 7 of the M6, we are easily commutable to most areas. Our practice, proud to be part of IVC Evidensia is well equipped, with excellent Ultrasound, Digital x-ray, Diathermy, Tonopen, pan opthalmascope, Vet Tone on the way, and much more.

Applicant Requirements

We are looking for a Veterinary Surgeon with experience and a strong surgical bias, capable of performing all routine operations unassisted, from gastrotomy to enucleations, tumor removal to skin repair, and interested in studying for a Cert in SAS. We are looking for a Veterinary Surgeon who is a team player and wants to expand the surgical services we offer.
