Do you love animals? Do you work in the veterinary field?

Belair Veterinary Hospital is looking for the right person to “live with us”. We have a cozy 1 bed/1 bath ~400 sq ft basement apartment below our hospital for occupancy. The living space is all yours in exchange for being on-call overnight for hospitalized patients. Part of the agreement includes checking on and tending to our hospitalized pets 1-2 times after hospital hours. Schedule varies depending on how many pets are admitted and what their needs are. Average frequency is 3-4 nights per week (sometimes including weekends). Hourly compensation provided for hours worked. Veterinary field experience a plus, but we are willing to train. Background check will be done for serious candidates.

Duties as assigned by veterinarian may include:

-Taking & recording vitals

-Administering medication (injections & oral)

-Observe & document attitude, food & water consumption, elimination

-Feeding

-Walking

-Other duties as needed
