We are looking for a full-time Kennel Attendant who is an energetic, passionate, caring, and motivated individual who is looking for long-term employment. We strive to set a standard of excellence in animal care, so we provide hands-on training for this hard and rewarding work.

This position requires general cleaning, exercise, and interaction with dogs and cats, effective communication with clients and team members, and the ability to lift at least 50 pounds.

Candidates who are professional in appearance, experienced in animal care, exhibit strong communication skills, work well with a team and have a passion for caring for animals are a welcomed addition to our team. Must be available to work weekends and holidays.

Skills & Knowledge:

• Apply knowledge and skills in controlling/handling individual animal temperament.
• Ability to gain animal confidence when restraining them for transport, grooming, and/or treatment.
• Knowledge of proper methods of animal restraint.
• Ability to use cleaning materials and equipment with skill and efficiency.
• Ability to perform moderately heavy physical labor (ability to lift at least 50 pounds).
• Knowledge of principles and processes for providing client and personal services.
• Ability to work independently on assigned tasks as well as to accept direction on given assignments. Understand and carry out oral and written directions.
