Job Description
Are you in search of a hospital where you can not only practice world-class medicine, but also be a part of a team that genuinely cares about each other and gives back to the community? MissionVet Specialty + Emergency is currently seeking a second board-certified or residency-trained medical oncologist to join our growing multi-specialty practice. You will be supported by a highly skilled and engaged staff that genuinely cares about each other and their patients.
After just 2 incredible years working with Dr. Ahmira Torres, her family has been called to again serve our country.
“Our move to San Antonio was driven by two things – military retirement and me finding the most wonderful group of individuals that practice the highest quality of medicine. MissionVet is more than an incredible hospital, it is a second family. It is a place where patient care is absolutely #1, where there is the most genuine transparency of caring and compassion and my work/life balance was sincerely cared for.”
Our multidisciplinary hospital was created in 2012 by partners of Gulf Coast Veterinary Specialists in Houston and local partners Tige Witsberger (Surgeon) and Jocelyn Cooper (Neurologist/Neurosurgeon) to provide high-level patient care, unparalleled communication and community outreach. MissionVet and its sister hospitals GCVS (Houston, TX), AVES (Austin, TX) and DVSC (Dallas, TX) are partnered with NVA Compassion-First to accelerate their growth and network with other best-in-class specialty and emergency hospitals while still retaining its local feel and empowerment.
If you would like to be a part of a leading-edge practice that supports your talent and the importance of a work/life balance, know that at MissionVet, we can offer you that and much more!
