Animal Medical Clinic of Wheaton is searching for a part time veterinary technician. We are the only AAHA accredited animal hospital in Wheaton. The right candidate will have a proven track record of being dedicated to providing excellent patient care and client service.

The ideal candidate is someone who is a self-starter, works well within a team, and eager to learn.

Job responsibilities include small animal restraint, gathering patient medical history, assisting with exams, dispensing medications, obtaining radiographs, preparing and interpreting cytology samples, collecting laboratory samples, client education, and working collaboratively with veterinarians and staff to provide excellent veterinary care. Experience with venipuncture, IV catheter placement, and surgery/anesthetic monitoring is a plus. Prior experience working in the veterinary field is required.
