The Role

This is an exciting role at the heart of the hospital where we deliver high standards of nursing care to our patients. Caring for each patient individually in your allocated ward, which will include administering medications, fluid therapy, placing catheters, managing urinary catheters, feeding tubes and wound drains. When working on procedures it will involve assisting the vet, monitoring anaesthetics, taking x-rays and helping to coordinate the days. We support each other throughout the day to nurse the patients to the highest standards. You will be working with a team of 6 nurses providing nursing care for inpatients both in first opinion and referral wards. Assisting with first opinion procedures, as well as coordinating the running of the day alongside the vet. The hours for this role are Saturday 10.30am to 10.30pm and Sunday 9.30am to 9.30pm.
