We are looking for a second certified veterinary technician to add to our team!
Blauner, Buchholz and Associates is a busy 5 doctor, equine only practice based in Harleysville, PA.
We offer high quality, comprehensive care to our equine patients in an ambulatory setting.
The ideal candidate is a hard working, team playing, self starting, detail oriented individual that will join our doctors on the road helping with days filled with sports medicine, gastroscopy, dentistry and the other needs of general practice. Our vets each have a passion that makes them uniquely fun to work alongside.
This position is full time, with a four-day work week and requires an active CVT license in Pennsylvania.
We are looking for someone with good general horsemanship skills and knowledge. Applicants should be comfortable longing and jogging horses in hand, and restraining horses for procedures. Comfort and skill with a gastroscope would be a plus. Ability to carry heavy equipment for short distances will be required. Sense of humor optional but will go a long way.
