Job Description

We are a friendly, growing, three-doctor small animal practice near Jackson, MS. The ideal candidate has at least one year of experience working in the capacity of CERTIFIED VETERINARY TECHNICIAN. Certification is appreciated. Our new team member should be well versed in heartworm disease, flea and tick preventives, and common intestinal parasites, and must be comfortable speaking to clients about these topics. In addition he/she must be both capable of and comfortable with restraining dogs and cats, drawing blood, placing IV catheters, taking radiographs, running in house lab’s and preparing samples, assisting with anesthesia and surgery, and performing dental cleanings. We are looking for someone with an outgoing personality and strong work ethic that will add to our hospital personality. Compensation is dependent on experience.
