Arroyo Vista Veterinary Hospital is seeking a Licensed Veterinary Technician to join our team!

We are a full service, small animal hospital in Moorpark, CA. We currently have 3 full time Doctors and perform a variety of services from nail trims to major surgery.

Qualifications: California State Licensed (or eligible) Veterinary Technician with a minimum of one-year experience. Knowledge of Avimark a plus!

The right candidate must possess a pleasant professional attitude as well as a strong desire to learn and master new techniques. They must be self-motivated, a team player, and thrive in a fast-paced environment. Candidates should be comfortable multi-tasking and possess the ability to think and act both quickly and independently. Excellent client communication and patient-care skills are required.

This department runs on an Alternative Work Week. Schedules are either 4 days per week (M-F) for 9 hours OR 3 days per week (M-F) for 9 hours and 6 hours on Saturdays. You will have the same schedule each week. Days worked not on normal schedule will be paid as overtime.

Selected candidate will routinely have the opportunity to utilize all of their training and advance their skill set in areas such as:
• Induction, management and recovery of anesthesia
• Collection and analysis of lab samples
• Diagnostic Imaging radiography and Ultrasound
• Dental cleanings and extractions
• Recording charges and notes in patient files
• Other duties as assigned
