Alaska Veterinary Clinic is looking for an experienced Veterinary Technician to join our Unicorn of a team.

This position is for Saturday shifts. Hours would be 8:30am-5:30pm.

Our goal is to provide compassionate, comprehensive, and progressive veterinary care for our patients while delivering an exceptional customer service experience for our clients. We firmly believe in offering our patients the best preventative care, including preventative annual wellness plans with easy monthly payment options, advanced dentistry, surgical care, and complete diagnostic capabilities with digital radiology and microscope. Our hospital is also equipped with Avimark Software (no paper charts!), ultrasound imaging, in-house Idexx lab equipment, digital patient monitoring with EKG, ultrasonic dental scaling and polishing units, digital dental radiology, endoscope, laser therapy and a whole lot more!

Applicants must demonstrate strong communication and organizational skills, ability to multi-task, and handle stressful situations while delivering excellent care to our patients. Friendliness, eagerness to help, and a strong sense of compassion for patient care is crucial for success in this position. Physical requirements may include being able to lift and carry up to 40 lbs, kneeling, bending at the knee, and using a step ladder to stock inventory.
