Due to continued growth, Lifetime Animal Care Center, an AAHA-accredited veterinary hospital in central San Diego, is looking for a motivated, professional Veterinary Technician/Assistant interested in providing exceptional service to clients and patients in a team-oriented environment. We are seeking a driven, enthusiastic individual who enjoys interacting with people just as much as pets. The successful candidate will value the client connection and be comfortable communicating with clients with respect and candor, pay attention to detail, respond quickly and calmly to any situation, be efficient in a fast-paced environment, and have exceptional technical skills including proficiency in blood draws, catheter placement, gentle restraint, surgical monitoring, and x-ray positioning. The ideal cultural fit is someone with a strong work ethic, personable demeanor, and dedication to teamwork. Avimark experience and experience with pet wellness plans is highly desirable. In addition to a training program, the successful candidate will complete certification in laser therapy.
