We are looking for an AWESOME Vet Tech that wants to EXCEL and reach their personal and professional goals!

Veterinary Technician Responsibilities include:
• Providing MEMORABLE client service and INDIVIDUALIZED patient care
• Competency in routine nursing care & treatments including IV fluid administration, vaccines & medication administration, and wound management
• Preparing prescription medications, taking radiographs, and completing medical records
• Processing in-hospital and reference laboratory diagnostic testing
• Setting patient catheters, preparing for surgical procedures, and monitoring general anesthesia
• All aspects of exam room communication and protocols such as obtaining history, TPR, client communication, and briefing veterinarians
• Performing toe nail trims, blood draws, ear cleanings, and gland expressions
• Assisting with the care of boarding & hospitalized animals and maintaining cleanliness of kennels
• Help the team maintain a clean medical facility

Requirements:
• AWESOME positive attitude and enjoys teamwork
• Required: 2+ years of Vet Tech experience in a veterinary facility
• Preferred but not required: Technician Certification (CVT)
• GREAT communication and computer skills
• Ability to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, bend, and climb; as well as lift, carry, move up to 50 pounds
