The Role

We are seeking a Mobile Veterinary Surgeon to work across four practices in South Wales.

Merthyr Tydfil, our busy main practice is part of a group with three other clinics, Mountain Ash, Ystradgynlais and Treharris.

This role is mainly be based between Merthyr Tydfil and Treharris with the flexibility to cover the other branches, as required.

This is a great opportunity to work in a busy practice with a varied caseload including advanced surgery and medicine.

The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years’ UK small animal practice (or UK equivalent) experience, highly competent both medically and surgically and have the ability to work sole charge if required.

Salary and hours

We offer a competitive salary with £4,200 accommodation allowance, vehicle or £2,500 allowance, £1,500 CPD allowance plus 3-days CPD leave, RCVS, VDS and BVA membership. 5 weeks annual leave plus bank holidays.

We work to a 4-day week with 1:3 half or 1:6 full weekends – no on-call required!

The Branch

Our clinics offer state-of-the-art equipment such as ultrasound facilities including cardiac probes, endoscopy, orthopaedic equipment and much more.
