The Role

We are looking for a forward thinking and motivated Veterinary Surgeon to join our welcoming team. This is a part time role working a minimum of 2 days per week. There is a 1 in 10 participation in the OOH weekend rota, and one night on call every fortnight. We are a busy first opinion practice with excellent standards of clinical care. You will work alongside our friendly team of vets, nurses and receptionists, both consulting and spending one day a week in theatre.

About Us

We are part of a growing group of practices within IVC Evidensia with a genuine focus on quality care for pets. We endeavour to set high standards and keep up with new developments to give the best possible service to our clients. We have up to date equipment including digital x-ray, ultrasound, in house lab machines and multiparameter anaesthetic monitoring equipment. We are accredited with ISFM in being a Cat Friendly Practice. We are a proactive team that regularly have case discussions and are always keen to take new ideas on board. We are supportive of CPD and further qualifications; as such we have one vet currently undertaking her cardiology certificate and another doing her surgery certificate. We also have a visiting cardiologist, orthopaedic specialist and ultrasonographer when required.

Applicant Requirements

We are looking for a highly motivated veterinary surgeon who can thrive and enjoy working in our practice. You will be confident and professional with the ability to work seamlessly alongside our practice teams to provide a quality experience for our clients and pets alike. You will need to be RCVS registered, have strong communication skills, have the ability to work well in a team, be comfortable to work sole charge (only at weekends) and have a passion to deliver great clinical care and fantastic client service.
