The Role

We are seeking a Veterinary Surgeon to join our team in our Hendon region which is made up of clinics in North West London.

This role plays a crucial part in part within the Medivet family. It will see you working in different practice environments, allowing you to gain exposure to varied surgeries and learn from a diverse team of veterinary professionals.

Here, you will create a large connection of colleagues, working together and sharing knowledge to deliver outstanding service and care for our clients and patients.

Salary and hours:

Joining our national network of veterinary surgeons at Medivet, offers exceptional opportunities for career development while enjoying a very competitive salary package.

This includes £10,200 housing allowance, vehicle or £2,500 allowance, £1500 CPD allowance plus 3-days CPD leave, RCVS, VDS and BVA membership.

We work to a 4-day week with 1:3 half or 1:6 full weekends. 5 weeks annual holiday allowance plus bank holidays (FTE).

You will also be included on our bank holiday and on-call rota. This is fair share with all vets in the region (approx. 3 weeks on-call) to support our wonderful night team should they require additional support.

Key Accountabilities

Joining our professional, personable team in the practice, you’ll deliver exceptional care by going beyond consulting to listen and empathising, putting patients and clients first, always.

As qualified MRCVS, you’ll already have good experience gained in small animal practice. You’ll be competent in clinical examination and surgery and confident working sole charge or as part of the wider team.

The Branch

This role works within our regional team supporting several practices in North West London. You will be included in a ‘working groups’ supporting 2-4 branches within our Hendon region.

The region is made up of the following clinics; 24-hr Hendon, South Harrow, Kenton, Borehamwood, Mill Hill, North Finchley, Muswell Hill, Fortis Green, Finchley, Hampstead Garden Suburb and Kingsbury.
