The Role

We are looking to recruit an experienced Veterinary Surgeon to start immediately and join our friendly, enthusiastic team in a well-equipped practice. Working alongside 3 other vets, you will ideally be confident in routine surgical procedures as well as consultations. There is good work/life balance at Forest Vet Group – 4 day weekly rota with no OOH’s. 1:3 Saturday morning shift. We are closed on all bank holidays and Sundays! We are based in a beautiful part of Wales and West Glamorgan is a fantastic base to explore the Brecon Beacons as well as the coastline of Wales.

About Us

Forest Veterinary Group has two branches, located in Skewen and Port Talbot. We are the winners of the 2013 'Best Veterinary Practice in Wales' award. With our second practice in Port Talbot, we can offer all the latest treatments. Our dedicated team of vets and nurses have a wealth of experience in treating domestic animals. Our team currently consists of 3 vets, 6 RVN’s, 3 SVN’s and 3 receptionists.

Applicant Requirements

The ideal person to join our team will be dedicated and passionate about small animal veterinary work both surgery and routine consults. We are a close, bonded team so we are looking for someone to slot into our working life and support everyone within the practice.
