Veterinary Surgeon

Job Description

The Role

We are looking for a first opinion Veterinary Surgeon to work across our Perton and Albrighton branches. There is also the potential for this role to be split into part time roles. It is key that the successful candidate/s are comfortable working in a sole charge environment, where support from the rest of the group is never far away. We offer a high-quality GP service in the branches, and they act as a source of clinical cases for our hospital. The successful applicant will carry out consultations and routine operations, be people focused and work hard at building client relationships. The role of our branches is to provide excellent veterinary services to their local community. An emphasis is placed on building relationships with clients to really understand their needs and those of their pets. Each branch has a consulting Nurse who, together with the Vet, should provide the first port of call for clinical and preventative advice. Our branch Veterinary Surgeons do routine surgery and dentistry. They do not hospitalise patients overnight. You will have the freedom to develop services and grow the branch surgery putting your own stamp on how things are run. If you have leadership skills, there is an opportunity for you to take more autonomy as a Branch Leader. We can also develop confident Vets, in these skills if desired. This is not essential for this appointment.

We offer CT, ultrasound, endoscopy, physio, k-laser and a wide variety of cases and opportunities both surgically and medically.
