The Role

We are currently looking for a Veterinary Surgeon to join our team in Liverpool, Merseyside. This is a full-time role split between 2 of our branches working 35 hours per week. This will either be over 3 days 9am-6:30pm with 2 days 9am-1pm or over 4 days 9am-6:30pm. There will be 1 in 3 Saturday mornings 9am-1pm and no out of hours. The role will involve a mixture of consulting and surgery.

About Us

We are a small, friendly team who work between two branches in the heart of Liverpool. Our facilities include digital x-ray, ultrasound, in-house laboratory, tonometry, and multi-parameter monitors. Having first opened in 1975, we have a well-established client base and work closely with our local charities. We have a close-knit team of 7 Veterinary Surgeons, 5 Registered Veterinary Nurses and 6 support staff who pride ourselves in looking after one another. Our team provide a high standard of care and we value their professional growth. We provide a supportive working environment where staff are encouraged to share their skills and knowledge.

Applicant Requirements

We are looking for an experienced, RCVS registered veterinary surgeon who shares our values. Must be confident performing routine surgery and consulting with some sole charge. Strong communication skills are essential along with being able to work well in a team.
