The Role

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Veterinary Surgeon to join our busy and progressive practice in the beautiful countryside of East Lothian. This is a full-time role working over 5 days per week with 1 in 4 weekend clinics and no out of hours.
The role will involve 1st opinion small animal medicine within branch practices. You will also have a chance to work in a purpose-built state-of-the-art veterinary practice, getting to use all your veterinary skills to their full ability. Experience an ever-varying caseload where no two days are the same! Specialist interests will be encouraged and supported.

About Us

Our practice is located in the beautiful countryside of East Lothian, only 20 miles from Edinburgh city centre. Our practice is a friendly and busy mixed practice with 5 branches situated throughout East Lothian. We have a fabulous team made up of 15 Veterinary Surgeons, 9 Veterinary Nurses and a dedicated reception team. We also have visiting Referral Veterinary Surgeons specialising in Dermatology, Orthopaedics, Cardiology, and Internal Medicine.

Applicant Requirements

Our ideal candidate will be a friendly Veterinary Surgeon with the ability to work well within a team. Good work ethic with the drive to continue to improve our small animal services, quality of care and relationships with our clients. Ability to work as part of a team but also have the confidence to work under your own leadership is essential.
