The Role
We have an exciting opportunity for a full time Veterinary Surgeon to join our team. The rota allows for a great work/life balance. You will be working a four day week and you will be required to perform the duties of a practicing vet working to high clinical standards. The weekend on-call rota is 1 in 5, with one or two nights on call a week.
About Us
For over 100 years Wherry Vets on the Norfolk/Suffolk border has provided veterinary services for Bungay and its surrounding area. We are a 100% small animal practice and pride ourselves on offering high quality care for pets and owners. Our modern purpose-built practice has a great team of vets, nurses and receptionists and includes digital x-ray, ultrasound and endoscopy. We have a supportive team of 6 Vets, 3 RVN's, 2 SVN's, 3 ANA's and 9 support staff.
Applicant Requirements
We are looking for a confident, experienced vet, who is as comfortable in theatre as in the consulting room. Patient care is at the heart of our practice, so we are looking for a team member that is keen to maintain a high clinical standard. Communication skills and team work are also of paramount importance – we have such a supportive team and would be looking for a new member to share this ethos.
