The Role

We are looking for an enthusiastic, experienced small animal Veterinary Surgeon dedicated to providing high standards of care to clients and patients in a busy general first opinion practice. Hours can be flexible – either 37 over 4 days or 40 hours over 5 days plus Saturdays on a 1:3 rota. There are no out of hour or on call duties, as our main site is a Vets Now host practice.

About Us

Hampton Veterinary Centre is part of Pengelly & Mizen, a long established practice having been in Peterborough since 1949. Hampton Veterinary Centre was purpose built at Hampton Hargate as a sister practice to Pengelly & Mizen and opened in 2003. We are a friendly, supportive team of 10 veterinary surgeons and 12 nurses across the two fully equipped sites. We are looking for a Veterinary Surgeon to join us who will be based at the Hampton site where there is a varied and interesting caseload. We encourage and support further training and development.

Applicant Requirements

Candidates must be RCVS registered with post qualification experience in general practice. Good communication skills are essential as well as being a team player along with a willingness to develop a good rapport with our clients. Individual interests that will enhance the service to our clients is encouraged.
