The Role

We are looking for an experienced Veterinary Surgeon to further expand our team of dedicated vets and help increase the services we offer to clients. Our vets work a 4 day week, on average with 2 late finishes and 2 early finishes. There is a 1:6 weekend and Saturday morning rota. During Saturdays we have a 9am-11.30am Saturday morning surgery, thereafter the weekend vet is on call until 5pm for inpatients and emergencies and from 8am-5pm on Sundays. The Saturday morning vet finishes around 12pm-1pm. On call overnight is for inpatients in the Hospital only after 5pm on weekends and after 9pm during the weekdays. Vets Now cover our emergencies outside of these times.

About Us

We are very reputable, recently fully refurbished, small animal veterinary hospital based in the royal town of Windsor. We are a very well equipped hospital with an experienced team of Veterinary Surgeons (including some certificate holders) and an excellent team of Registered Veterinary Nurses / Student Nurses and support staff. We provide 24 hour nursing care on site for our inpatients 24/7, we have a fully equipped laboratory, brand new x-ray machine, dental x-ray, rigid and flexible endoscopes, a bronchoscope, ultrasound, dental suite, separate cat and dog wards, a cat waiting room and much more. We are located close to the M25, M3 & M4 and have excellent transport links to London and Heathrow. Windsor is a beautiful town, combining gorgeous countryside and a vibrant town centre all in one location.

Applicant Requirements

You will be an all-round surgeon. A specialist area/ certificate would be very appealing to our team. We are looking for a colleague who strives to provide gold standard veterinary care to their patients and clients.
