The Role

We are looking for a Veterinary Surgeon to join us at Alcombe Vets in Ealing. The role is full time with 1:3 Saturdays and no OOH. Every day there is a consulting vet and an op vet in the practice. The op vet performs surgeries in the morning and starts consulting at 4pm until 6pm. We are highly requested for the EMS placements and therefore there is often a vet or nurse student to assist the team. We are also a trainee practice for graduated vet and nurse enrolled in IVC academy. Despite previous coaching experience is not expected, we wish to find a candidate interested in supporting the students and new graduates.

About Us

Alcombe Vet (Ealing branch) is a busy first opinion practice in the heart of a lovely neighbourhood. The practice is equipped with digital x-ray, ultrasound, endoscope and an internal laboratory for routine diagnostics. We have 2 large consulting rooms and a very bright reception. The upstairs floor is dedicated to office duties. There is very nice park in front of the practice that offers a lovely place for summer's lunches. The branch is within a short walk from the underground station served by the Piccadilly line.

Our goal is never stop learning. The clinical director is a certificate holder, the other full time vet is working through the certificate studies too. We have an ANA on training and a student enrolled in nurse studies. We share our knowledge in order to continuously improve each other and provide the best standard of care to our patients.

Applicant Requirements

Any degree of experience is accepted but we are looking for a candidate who is able to perform at least routine surgeries and confident enough with simple consultation. Senior vets are available for support.
